Global Percussion offers classes, clinics, and festivals for
students ranging from beginners to working professionals, providing a one-of-a-kind opportunity to study with leading artists
and educators in the world of percussion. It also exposes a regional community to the diversity of music making that is at
the core of Global Percussion. Our members also seek to make diverse musical contributions to the appreciative arts communities
throughout the state of Texas.
Elementary Music
Lessons and Clinics
Global Percussion provides elementary music educators
with a hands-on approach to incorporating ethnic music into their classroom. Not only can educators receive private or group
instruction on authentic instruments from various cultures, elementary music students can also receive clinics over various
ethnic music and cultures.

Global Percussion provides students from the elementary level
on up to the professional level the opportunity to learn about the vast world of ethnic percussion. Ghana (West Africa), Brazil,
India, Puerto Rico, Turkey, Trinidad, Bali (South Pacific), and Cuba are a few of the cultures we bring to our students.
