Global Drum School is an 5-day day camp that brings music from
around the world to students in Texas. Students learn to play music from a variety of cultures including India, Brazil, Turkey,
Cuba, Bali, Puerto Rico, Trinidad/Tobago, and West Africa. Many of our instructors teach at the university level and many
are natives to the culture from which they are teaching.
The
school offers individualized level-appropriate classes for beginning students up to the working professional, including elementary
music teachers. During the camp, you are exposed to 40 hours and 5 different styles
of world percussion! In addition to the amount of information learned at these camps, the quality of instruction is truly
world-class.
This year, we are proud to be launching Global Drum School in Frisco, TX. Also, Gideon Alorwoyie will be joining
